I like it a lot, especially the eyes and pretty much all the cool things you did with his head. You have a good grasp on faces so maybe the next step is to focus on general anatomy like where parts connect to one another.

Very cool and fun design! It feels like a monster drawn on old maps of the oceans. I'd like to see you do some monsters with a more fitting background to them, as the look of it feels like a scratchy, darkest dungeons style monster with a really bright background that doesn't feel like it fits in with the actual work. But overall I think you found an interesting style to work with.
